Redskins Roll Past Pack On Primetime Stage
The Washington Redskins needed a big win on Sunday Night Football to keep pace with the top teams in their division. They were able to do just that, picking up a statement win over the reeling Green Bay Packers, 42-24.
The Redskins topped the Packers thanks to 375 and 3 touchdowns from quarterback Kirk Cousins, and 137 yards from running back Robert Kelley, who also tallied 3 touchdowns of his own. After starting the season 0-2, the Redskins have gone 6-1-1 in their last 8 games.
The Packers gave up 42 points to the Redskins one week after giving up 47 points. Despite their defensive woes, quarterback Aaron Rodgers put up decent numbers, throwing for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Washington’s great offensive performances finally led to big plays in the second half, and this was when most of the reactions rolled in on social media. Of course, these reactions included a good amount of tweets from excited Redskins fans and disgruntled Packers fans. Social Delta tracked all of the game’s ups and downs. Here are some of the best ones in each of the biggest Packers vs. Redskins moments in the game’s key second half:

Kirk Cousins is a hard kid to not like. I mean, unless you’re the GM who eventually gives him a $100 million contract.
