The Dallas Cowboys thought they had the game-winning score when Ezekiel Elliott scored with under two minutes to go. They were wrong. Instead they notched it when he scored with 9 seconds left.
The Cowboys defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-30 in one of the best games of the season. Elliott finished with 114 rushing yards and 95 receiving yards, three total touchdowns, including a 14-yard score with 1:55 remaining and a game-winning 32-yard run. Dallas was driving in hopes to get in good position for a field goal, as they trailed by one. Elliott, aided by a dominating offensive line, instead took it the rest of the way for six.
The Steelers fought back from the first of Elliott’s fourth-quarter scores by driving 75 yards in five plays for the go-ahead score. Ben Roethlisberger surprised the Cowboys with a fake-spike touchdown pass to Antonio Brown, with 42 seconds left on the clock. It turned out to be too much time.
The fast-paced game went back and forth throughout. While both teams’ offenses had big days, neither could punch it in when attempting two-point conversions. The Cowboys and Steelers combined for six failed two-point tries.
Nonetheless, all of the scoring and drama made for quite the excitement – and tweets! Social Delta was able to track all of the ups and downs in this roller coaster of a game. We sorted some of the best ones in each of the biggest moments of Cowboys vs. Steelers.

Ben Roethlisberger faked that spike so well, I’m standing on the LOS and I bought it. Everybody flat footed but Antonio Brown. Sweet TD.
