Dak Prescott, Cowboys Impress in Preseason Game vs. Dolphins

Through two games this preseason, there looks to be a budding star in Big D.

The Dallas Cowboys dominated the Miami Dolphins Friday night in each team’s second preseason game, 41-14. Cowboys’ backup quarterback Dak Prescott once again stole the show as he finished with a perfect passer rating of 158.3 accumulating 199 yards on 12/15 attempts, 2 passing touchdowns, and another pair of TD’s on the ground. New Cowboys running back Alfred Morris also impressed Friday, rushing for 85 yards and a 15-yard touchdown.

Cowboys’ starting QB, Tony Romo, played sparingly, coming back from an injury where he missed most of last season, but did lead a drive that resulted in a Morris TD run.

The Miami Dolphins scored two touchdowns on throws from Ryan Tannehill to Kenny Stills. However, aside from these big plays, nothing amounted consistently from the Dolphins’ offense.
