Students who attend the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) in South Africa are upset about the raising of tuition. There was a protest started by the South African Student Congress Organization (SASCO) and had the participation of 15 South African universities who all joined together to call for an end to the increase of tuition fees. By using the hashtages #FeesMustFall and #TanRoundtable, everyone around the world was able to join in the conversation and speak on why this new increase in tuition is not beneficial for the students of South Africa. Around the 4:15 PM mark, Ndaba Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela weighed in on the topic by tweeting:
Support our students, support our future leaders! Our Govt, our leaders, our educational institutions are in denial. #FeesMustFall

This shows the power of social media and how the whole world can voice their opinions on a specific topic and with tools like Social Delta, we are able to see what was said, exactly when it was said. Social Delta will continue to see how South Africa responds to these protests.
